Then and Now - Different but the Same

This is an exciting year for us as 2015 marks our 110th Anniversary.  Our commitment to serving families and businesses in north Louisiana began in Arcadia way back in 1905.  Over this period of time, we have been met with and survived many challenges such as the depression era, the bank acquisition trend and even a near hold-up by Bonnie and Clyde.  We stood strong in our mission of being a trusted friend to generations of customers and still live by this mantra today.

We agree banking has changed over the 110 years we have been in business.  Technology has allowed us to give our customers faster access to their money, account information and even the ability to deposit checks from their smart phone or tablet.  Even with this techno-evolution, we are just as committed to building personal relationships with our customers as we were in 1905.  We believe relationship banking is at our core and are committed to making every interaction with our customers and community an experience that is noticeably different and more exceptional than any they have ever encountered.

We feel so strongly about nurturing and growing personal, one-on-one relationships that we made the decision to expand our footprint in order to be more convenient to our customers and community as a whole.  Beginning in 2000, we invested resources in Farmerville, West Monroe and Ruston by opening a total of 5 new branches and employing a strong team of local bankers.

The growing demands of our customers in Ouachita Parish presented us with the opportunity to expand our footprint once more.  In the fall of 2014, we broke ground on our eighth banking office on the corner of 18th Street and Hudson Lane.  This full service branch will provide all the financial services our customers need such as deposit and savings accounts, personalmortgage and business loans all with local bankers you know.  While keeping our core services in tact, we will also offer the latest in banking technologies which include enhanced video and remote business transaction units as well as multimedia and conferencing technology.  To add even more convenience and benefits to our customers, this new banking center will also be home to our sister company, Ensure – The Insurance Agency.

We take pride in our community, are humbled by our supporters and passionate about living our promise “To Be Uncommon In All That We Do.”
